Jason and Keesha's engagement party. Ned and Lois walked up to Jason and Keesha. "I'm so happy you're getting married. You guys are just so cute together. And if you need anything, you just let us know, right Ned?" She nudges Ned in his side.
"Just make sure and don't ask the Q's for anything, even if you're on dying knee. But I don't have to tell you that. No offense to you Jason."
"Thanks Ned. We'll keep that in mind. Excuse us but I need to speak with my fiancée on the terrace." Keesha excused herself, took Jason's hand and lead him outside.
"I just wanted to say thank you for being such a great guy. And to tell you how much I love you, Jason." Jason pulled her into him and held the embrace.
"Keesha, being with you these past two years have been the best two years of my life. You complete me. I love you more than anything, Keesha." He pulled her into the tender of all kisses. "Keesha, I want to make sure it's not too soon after Granny Mae's death for us to get married."
"Jason, she would have wanted us to get married as planned. She'll be in spirit, making sure I'm okay, always."
They walked back inside hand in hand. Keesha looked around and held her breath, everthing seemed to be moving in slow motion at a really fast pace. AJ is in the corner with Tracey watching Her and Jason. Brenda is watching Jax every move with Alexis. Justus is watching Alexis every move with Jax. Tracey is watching Lois and mumbling how Lois trapped Ned by getting knocked up. Emily walks up to her.
"Keesha, are you alright?"
"I'm sorry Em I was kind of out there for a minute. Everything is just a little overwelming". Emily give Keesha a congradulatory hug. "In a few days we are official sisters."
"I would like to make a toast." AJ announces as he struts over to Jason and Keesha.
"To my two favorite people in the world. My brother Jason and my best friend, Keesha, congratulations!" He raises his glass to toast and the rest of the guest follow. AJ drinks the entire flask of champaign as Jason walks over to him, thanks him, takes him by the arm and leads him outside.
"This is Keesha's night AJ. Don't ruin it for her."
"Don't ruin it for her? "Do you think I would do anything to hurt her Jason. I don't have the power to hurt her, because she doesn't love me, but you do. See, she's in love with you, not me. You've got the engagement, the parents love, and you're in medical school. What more could you possibly want?" AJ turns and walks to the boathouse. Jason watching his broken brother as he stumbled up the stares.
The next morning as everyone is eating breakfast. AJ comes into the dining room still drunk from the night before.
"AJ please come in and join your family for breakfast." Monica offered him the chair next to her.
"Thanks mom, but you seem to use the word family very loosly when it come to me mom. Am I still your family or is the quota of one son enough for you?" AJ walks over to the drawer takes a set of car keys out. "I think I'll take the Porshe for a spin. It's still my car right or have you also taken that away from me?" AJ take a bow and leaves.
Keesha stands up to go after him. Jason tells her he'll take care of it. "Jason please don't let him drive."
Two minutes later the sound of tires screeching was followed by the crash of metal in stone.
Six weeks later Jason wakes up from his coma with Keesha by his side.
Keesha reaches for the phone and calles Monica to come to his room. She welcomes him back and tells him she's so happy he's awake and how much she missed him and loved him.
Jason tries to focus his eyes while staring at Keesha trying to understand her words. Keesha pours water in a cup and he sips it slowly. "Where am I?"
"You're at General Hospital baby. Oh Jason, you were in a car accident and... Monica will be here shortly....."
Jason stops her in mid sentence, clears his throat and clutches her arm, "Who are you?"
